The NotWedding and Atlanta OCCASIONS tie the NOT! 

ATLANTA, September 22, 2009 – Atlanta OCCASIONS Magazine (AtlantaOccasions.com), the only multi-media brand for Atlantans planning weddings, corporate AND social events, takes being awesome up a notch by becoming the exclusive producer of The NotWedding 2010, further expanding their reach to Atlanta Brides-to-be. 

The NotWedding is a unique bridal event in which a handful of the city’s most talented vendors come together to stage a one-of-a-kind wedding. Complete with an unforgettable ceremony, an over the top first dance, a cake cutting, and reception, The NotWedding has become a killer alternative to a bridal show that promotes an atmosphere that inspires brides towards creative options rather than cookie-cutter weddings. 

Scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2009 at the Foundry at Puritan Mill, The NotWedding hand-selects vendors to perform their services as they would at a real wedding, and "wedding guests" (i.e. Brides-to-be) get to hear the music, taste the cakes, touch the dresses... while enjoying food, drinks, dancing and loads of free stuff.

Why the partnership?  Why NOT? Atlanta Occasions Magazine has become all the rage since it’s launch in 2009 making waves in the world of event planning.  The NotWedding gained the same buzz with their first two ground-breaking events and needed a force to carry the momentum on.   Atlanta Occasions was just the fit.  The original Party Producer, Callie Murray of Achor & Eden Photography says “The NotWedding grew so quickly that I knew it needed an experienced Atlanta wedding veteran to keep up with it. Heather at Atlanta Occasions has the wedding and event experience, the network of brides and vendors and most importantly the drive to make the next NotWedding the most groundbreaking and talked-about bridal event to hit the scene. I am thrilled to announce this partnership, and I am so excited to see The NotWedding blossom as Atlanta Occasions takes over.

Normally exclusive to one event pro per category, the organizers at Atlanta Occasions headquarters are mixing thing up a bit and opening a few categories to multiple vendors.
